St. Anton am Arlberg is a breathtaking winter wonderland that offers fantastic opportunities for winter hiking. Crunching snow underfoot, soothing mountain climate, snow-covered mountains and the pristine forests make for a truly magical experience. The offer for winter hikers has already grown to 80 kilometres. A total of 17 signposted trails allow guests to discover, for example, the Verwall Valley with the Wagner Hut or the Stanzertal circular trail. Our Arlen Lodge offers the ideal starting point for your hikes on the Arlberg.

Step by step in a natural paradise

The 10 km long winter hike along the old Arlberg road to the beautiful Verwallsee is definitely worth a hike. For the perfect conclusion, the nearby Wagner Hut is the perfect place to end the eventful winter hike with delicious Tyrolean specialities. By the way, the winter hike to Lake Verwall in St. Anton can also be done on cross-country skis. The cross-country ski trail runs parallel to the winter hiking trail from Mooserkreuz to Verwallsee and back via the Wagner Hütte.
